Your Role
As an Embedded Software Developer, you'll:
- Develop and optimize software for embedded systems using C/C++.
- Set up and manage build environments for various Linux systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design software architectures based on system-level requirements.
- Engage in projects involving embedded hardware platforms, such as NXP and Qualcomm.
- Participate in both in-house and on-site assignments, gaining exposure to diverse company structures and environments.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Experience with setting up build environments for different Linux systems.
- Familiarity with embedded hardware platforms (e.g., NXP, Qualcomm).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Ability to create software architectures based on system-level requirements.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with Yocto and Linux kernel development.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with BSPs and OTA software upgrades for embedded Linux.
- Familiarity with embedded RTOS (e.g., Zephyr Project, FreeRTOS).
- Understanding of communication protocols like LwM2M, HTTP(s), MQTT(s).
- Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (e.g., Bluetooth Low Energy, Zigbee, Z-Wave, UWB).
- Experience with cloud integrations and edge mechanisms (e.g., Azure IoT Edge, AWS IoT Greengrass).
- RF experience and familiarity with continuous integration and automated testing tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Ability to work closely with hardware design, including schematic reviews.
