About the Role
As an Embedded Software Engineer at NIRA Control, you will play a central role in developing the next generation of engine control technology. You will be involved in the entire development process, from specification and prototyping to certification and mass production, working closely with global customers in the EU, US, India, and the UK. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a real difference in a rapidly changing world.

Example of Work Tasks:

• Develop specifications in collaboration with Cloud and Application engineers
• Perform and lead functional tests throughout the development cycle, both in the lab and on customer applications
• Manage software releases
• Document strategies, including software design descriptions and handbooks
• Ensure the timely delivery of products according to specifications

To Thrive in this Role, You Should:

• Have a strong interest in understanding customer needs and applications
• Be hands-on and willing to validate systems, including on-site customer visits (travel may be required)
• Have a genuine interest in things that move – cars, boats, planes, or other internal combustion engine-based solutions

Required Qualifications:

• A relevant university degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
• A strong passion for application software development, preferably through studies or personal projects
• Experience in C programming with a focus on embedded systems
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
• Ability to implement functionality in C#
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
